Kim Burke is a music teacher at Williamsville North High School where she has been teaching since 1989. She was responsible for writing and implementing a curriculum titled “Music In Our Lives” for a high school level class that contains national music content standards, and a foundation in the history of American Rock and Roll.
Kim has presented classroom workshops for music educators locally, as well as at county and state music conferences. Her educational efforts focus on meeting the needs of students of all ability levels.
Kim’s education includes Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Performance,and Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from SUNY Buffalo. Kim is currently the chairperson for the Outreach/Education Committee and is a member of the Events Committee.
