No one in the Buffalo & Western NY area has been involved in booking and promoting more major and national act concerts than Eddie Tice.
Starting in the late 1960s, for close to a decade, he worked with Festival East Concerts &
Jerry Nathan (BMHOF inductee in 2002).
From "The Jimi Hendrix Experience" concert at the old Aud in 1968 to the dozen big "Superfest at the Stadium" concerts at the football stadium, hundreds of concerts were brought to and promoted in Buffalo by Nathan & Tice.
"These were really 'the good old days' " says Tice. "The whole concept of big acts touring was just getting started. We had no real competition and most bands played for flat guarantees. We could keep ticket prices pretty low". The Who played at Kleinhans Music Hall for $6.00 a ticket and The Rolling Stones played at the Aud for $10.00 a ticket! "I am so pleased that Jerry Nathan was inducted into the BMHOF. He was the real pioneer in the concert promotion business and the best mentor & teacher a guy could ask for."
In the late 1970s Tice joined Harvey & Corky Productions as Vice President & director of the corporation. The company soon became Harvey, Corky & Tice Productions and for the next decade almost every major concert that came to Buffalo was booked & promoted by Eddie Tice. These concerts were held at Shea's Buffalo Theater, Kleinhans Music Hall, Buffalo Memorial Auditorium, Melody Fair & many of the local clubs (Sinbad's, Rooftops, The Continental and the club Harvey, Corky & Tice owned "Stage 1 ").
' After HC&T disbanded, Tice formed Tice Productions and promoted over 100 more major concerts with Magic City Productions as a partner.

In 2000, as part of the "Herd About Buffalo" city-wide art project, Tice created and put together the "Backstage Buffalo" to raise money to benefit Roswell Park Cancer Institute and the Burchfield-Penney Art Center. It brought in over $7000 thanks to donations by both Buffalo Place and Steve Kantor. The huge buffalo is covered with hundreds of Tice's backstage passes collected over the years. The buffalo's face has its eyes adorned with make-up honoring the band "KISS" and its tongue is the famous Rolling Stones tongue logo. Tice also put a sticker on its leg dedicating it to the memory of concert promoter Jerry Nathan.
In 2003 Tice was named Director of the WNED Buffalo Niagara Guitar Festival. He put together what most guitar lovers believe was the strongest & most talented line-up in the festival's five year history. The PBS station's 9 day festival featured Buddy Guy, Los Lobos, The Yardbirds (the band that launched the careers of Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck & Jimmy Page), Savoy Brown featuring Kim Simmonds, Larry Coryell and son Murali Coryell (on Father's Day!),The John Pizzarelli Trio, classical guitar great Christopher Parkening, the legendary Hubert Sumlin, Dickey Betts, Rik Emmet, the Campbell Brothers, Walter Trout, Regi Wooten and many other great musicians including BMHOF members Tony Scozzaro, Doug Yeomans, McCarthyizm & the Reinhardts.
